Three children went through McGallaird, great teachers and great foudation for our children to build on.
Mcgalliard is a terrific school .Is it warm sometimes ...ah , yeah , just like every other older elementary school .If thats the first complaint , then your missing the point . The teachers are excellent , very caring and show interest inside and outside the school .mcgalliard prepares it's students for the next level , no question . We feel very lucky to have our children educated at mcgalliard .
This school is terrible. Overheated, art-from-a-cart, no advanced programs for readers, just to mention a few drawbacks. Teachers and administration is unresponsive and PTA is political.
my children have both had great experiences there. they have a good PTA, and I have been able to help in the classroom numerous times! The teachers are wonderful.
