I have one son who graduated from Corpus Christi and another son in the junior high. My older son is currently a sophomore in a highly competitive Catholic hgh school where he is excelling because of the education he has received at Corpus Christi. My younger son is also doing very well because of the caring and dedicated teachers. They have a gifted and talented program and many other clubs to challege the children. My sons are also honest, moral boys who I am very proud of !
Both of my children attend Corpus Christi and I can say nothing negative about the school. It is a faith based education with caring teachers. I read other reviews and am dismayed to see their negative comments about bullying and the academics being poor. My son attended the Pre-K 4 program and was able to read 3 letter words and do simple addition, could show me states on the map and knew about Christmas and Easter better than I. I look at the poor grammatical skills and improper English of some of these reviews and don't give them value whatsoever. Why would I dismiss a school based on a review that does not even have complete sentences?. Don't believe the negative reviews. If you are looking for a good solid Catholic school education, this is your place.
Corpus Christi is a joke. I have a child there for the past 5 years and every year it has gotten worse. Bullying is highly prevalent and the education is poor!
My daughter is in first grade and so far i am not at all satified with it the teachers r very closed minded, and the treat all the students equally, over achieving and under achieving. They don't not help kids and leave it to parents. Also they never post their test results especially of terra nove as to where the kid stands stands and how much a parent work (as they don't work at all). My son in prek is where he was a year ago he practically learned nothing other than playing i had to take him away from this school, so i wouldn't reccomend this school to anyone.
Corpus Christi has the faith and moral values neccesary to turn you into a good person. I would reccomend it to other parents looking to send thier kids to a fine Catholic School. The only thing I dislike are their faliure to punish or get rid of certain teachers, who do not enjoy their jobs and are just all around cranky.
Both of my sons attend this school and I am extremely pleased with the education and socialization skills they are learning. They have many friends, the teachers are warm and caring and the school itself exudes an inviting atmosphere. Look no further than CCS if you are looking for quality education.
Corpus chrsti school is great . Very high standard curricullum, fantastic teachers, and very nice people. I have gained hope and faith in myself when they helped me through my times. I would consider this school to anyone who is looking for a great education for their child
My son was only there for 2 mos. he was constantly being yelled at, making him sad and angry. I pulled out of the daycare and now he attends Rainbow Academy at Rutherford where they are preparing him for K in a nurturing environment that is customer focused with professional teachers that are degreed in education and child psychology.
Fantastic school! I wouldn't change a thing.
Great School! Wouldn't send my child anywhere else.
