My Son just started Kindergarten this year at Haskell School and we couldn't be more pleased! It amazes me how much he's blossomed since beginning school. He has a wonderful young teacher who has helped to make his transition from Preschool to Elementary school a complete success! Not only that but I can't believe all he has learned since the beginning of the year. He wakes up each morning eager to attend school and that makes me a very, very happy parent. I do wish the school offered more after school programs (i.e. art, music, etc...) but as far as education this school is top notch!

My daughter is attending this school. She has Mrs. Arnoldi for Kindergarden, who was excellent!! This year she has Mrs. Jaggi who is also a great teacher. My daughter has learned so much this year. I wish the school had a music program though, that is really my only complaint.

We moved from New York to New Jersey, selecting Haskell, NJ as a place to grow our family. Our Haskell Elementary school is excellent and my child is succeeding on every level in both academics as well as athletics, privately and through town recreation activities. There are wonderful and caring families in this community.

My kids love their school and are doing great. My son is in the middle school level, in advanced classes, and loves his teachers. The town has come together to pass recent school budgets and referendums. I am very pleased.

My son just finished Kindergarten at Haskell School and I can honestly say that he has had a great year. The staff and administration of the school are very supportive, and the programs are constant and interesting. Mrs. Arnoldi is one of the greatest teachers I have had the pleasure to meet. Not only does she work individually with her students, but she recognizes the diverse needs of a room full of 5 and 6 year olds and responds accordingly. It has been a pleasure to watch my son bloom under her skillful hand.

This school's population reflects the lack of diversity in the town's population. Nevertheless, Haskell school actively involves students in understanding our diverse society. The main negative factor about this school is the undemocratic way discipline is handled. The teachers and administration use student peer pressure to solve problems as a routine disciplinary method. The teachers at this school are the best anywhere. Grade level teachers and activity teachers alike provide a caring and uplifting classroom and school environment. The music program suffers from a shameless lack of support by the board of education. There have been no fewer than 6 instrumental music directors in the past 8 years. During that time, there have been at least 3 vocal music instructors.
