My son was suffering in his other school. Now he has gone to JFK for 2 years. He has made excellent strides in school since coming to JFK. The teachers, child study team, and all the staff are great. My son has 1 more year in this school and moves on to Middle School. I expect that this year will be his greatest yet. Thank you all for all your hard work! Lets make this a good year for all the kids at JFK! Kimberly Waters

My daughter has been going to JFK since kindergarten and she loves it. She is now in first grade. The teachers are just fantastic and do a lot of one on one as well as in groups. They really care about the children and are always responsive to any questions. Every morning the principal and/or vice principal are greeting parents, talking to the children. The have a lot of activites throughout the year for the children and/or your family to participate in. One example is build a book. What a great time my daughter and I had doing this together. Halloween party at night in the gym. Invention fair which gives your child a chance to be creative and show the rest of the school what they thought would make life better by what they invented. They also keep you informed about the town's events throughout the year.

I have one child in the school, and we are having a positive experience. My son's teacher is very involved with the students and very caring. The parents are very involved in the school and community. There is an art program, but music is lacking, and I would love to see this change. One issue we are having is safety, as the children can leave the building undetected very easily. This has been brought to the attention of the Board, and hopefully, will be resolved.

JFK is an amazing school. I have two daughters in the school and we've been pleased every year with the teaching staff, curriculum and administration of the school. Mr. Perno, Principal, has always made himself available for questions/meetings. The teachers in this school are an amazing group of individuals. I can't thank them enough for the professionalism, content knowledge, creativity, and humor they demonstrate on a daily basis. My daughters love going to school every day, and I think this speaks volumes about the school, and it's culture of caring. I rate JFK with an 'A+'. Sincerely, Ruth Longo
