Resurrction School has experinced teachers who relate well to multi ethnic community the school serves. Its empahasis on peace, faith and educational discipline are keys to the school's mission
The school is a jewel in the heart of downtown Jersey City. The school is administered by 2 wonderful sisters who are devoted to their work. The school teaches our children peace and conflict resolution skills, they think green, and use technology to keep parents inform. The school has an excellent schhol curriculum and a dedicated team of teachers who are motivated to achieve academic excellence. One of the goals of the school is to stregthen the relationship between home and the school to provide a more balance education enviroment for our kids. And for this reason the school has implemented Peace Skill classes for the parent/family 4 times per year. I am glad we are part if this wonderful family. Come and visiti Resurrection School.
The quality of the academics at Resurrection School is excellent. There is a chess club and a basketball team. The students who represent the school in contests usually place high. The environment is very peaceful. The staff and students are loving. The building is clean and big. The cafeteria serves breakfast and lunch.
Resurrection School contains the former grammar schools of St. Bridget, St. Mary, St. Peter, and Holy Rosary. The mission in this school is a mission of peace. The students learn in one of the most peaceful environments you could ever find anywhere. They are very well disciplined and respectful. Everyone knows each other, and there are hardly conflicts between anyone. There are many activities and the building is roomy. Your child will feel at home and will easily make friends here. There is a breakfast and lunch program which serves hot meals every school day. Not only does this school have the basic academic curriculum, it has peer mediation, peer ministry, student council, and patrol students. Most importantly, the children are taught how to handle difficult situations in the most peaceful ways. I recommend this school for any parent who wants an excellent education and a safe environment for their child.
This school is an excellent administration. It's small which means there is more student-teacher time. There is a guidance counselor and the school building is spaceous.
