Overall, Lincoln is a 'good' school. Parents have access to their children's grades online via Genesis. Although there are a few great teachers in the school, you do have your old-teachers that have not quite gotten with the program as far as the new technology and how kids learn these days. Let's just say, once June comes around, I am even relocating just to get my son away from this school! WARNING PARENTS: ELA Teacher, Rita Gross will give you and your child(ren) a complete nightmare!!
This school is the largest in Kearny. It has a 456 seat auditorium, an enormous gym, a large indoor swimming pool, a very large library, 2 computer labs, 60 classrooms, bathrooms everywhere, the most modern building in the entire city made out of expensive materials, 2 enormous floors, a average sized cafeteria, 1000 kids, respectful teachers, strict but responsible principal, a very unique gifted and talented education system, Pre-k - 8th grade, and 3 large courtyards. There are also high honors classes (AP) for the 7th and 8th grades. Only downside is that there is now playground for the younger kids, but it is not there fault because the school is located in a densely populated area
