Overall good staff, but far, far too many time-wasting projects. The ILA program is weak; the kids spend more time on dioramas than they do reading.
Excellent School. The teachers go out of their way to help students. Excellent teachers and staff. Great School
I am a student intern at Constable and think it is wonderful! I have interned in several other elementary schools, and Constable is by far the best! The teachers are wonderful and will go out of their way to help all their students!
Constable is a great place where the teachers work hard and will go out of their way to help out the students. The leadership is responsive and caring as well. The students at Constable are happy and learn how to treat others with respect and empathy all in the comfort of a positive learning environment!
Constable has some really great teachers but the school is so cold and prison like. I would definitely pick another school in the district before going here.
Constable School is not a warm and friendly atmosphere. It is a cold and sterile environment. We moved here two years ago specifically for the schools. My children are now open-enrolled in another elementary school in the district. We felt the difference the minute we walked into the new school. I believe this stems from the principal.
Constable School has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Teachers know the students very well. The Early Childhood program includes guided reading groups and much exposure to reading and writing.
I thought the school had a good academic program for my child. The teachers seemed to know their trade and were highly motivated to make things interesting.
My daughter was passed over as being a slow reader by two teachers in this school when she was Dyslexic. Although I alerted them that she probably was because her father is, they refused to test her stating she was too young to be tested. We moved and within 2 months of school her testing was done and she was diagnosed.
