A superb school. Both my kids are in this school and I am very happy with the education they are getting. Thge teachers are very good and the academic standard is very high.
What a wonderful school, instilling not only academic excellence, but core values in my son's life. Teachers and parents alike are warm and welcoming. THe extracurricular activites, like basketball and arts programs add to the enrichment.
My husband & I are both graduates of St. John's School (71 & 77). I feel the education, life lessons & friendships are what made us who we are today. My son has been a student at St. John's for 9yrs now and looking forward to graduating next year. St. John's School has achieved wonderful academic status and has a great "family atmosphere". Our school is in financial difficulties and could desperately use this money. Please consider our school! It will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
St John is providing a competent education and a safe environment to my son.
I love the close knit community and the feeling of belonging!
The sense of community and educational excellence set St. John the Evangelist apart for all others!
In a time of economic downfall, it is not wise to spend one's money for such pitiful education. I have attended this school for many years. After graduating, I realized that the world was much bigger and there were much more opportunities in various subjects and majors. This school shelters children in such a degree where young adults cannot go out and do greater things on their own when they reach high school. Moral behavior is strictly enforced and I believe that it is too much a part of the curriculum that it limits the full educational experience of the student. Getting accepted to a good college is essential to one's future work, life, and living. Indeed, this school fails to prepare young adults on the journey to high school, where they will ultimately aim for higher goals in college and find their true vocation.
I have three children in the school and I am very pleased with it. The children who graduate from the eight grade have all been accepted into the catholic high schools, many in their honors programs, as well as Bergen Academies. They obviously are doing something right. If you want your kids to get a little discipline and be a little sheltered in a good way, then this is the right school for you. I would be proud to recommend it to anyone looking for a catholic education and it is also the best priced school tuition wise in the area.
teachers here're very warm, nice and intimate. they send christmas cards for several years after kids graduated from this school
So far I am very pleased with St. John's. My child is in kindergarten and the teacher and aide are wonderful.
