Myles J. McManus Middle School

I used to be a student here at McManus but unfortunately I had to move :( . McManus is such a great school ! The teachers are nice and care about helping you academically. Going to my new school made me appreciate McManus ALOT more !

It is a close knit family oriented school, all of the teachers go aabove and beyond to help not only my chils but other students as well. Educational via non-traditional means are used wich is especially helpful for my child.

I kind of like mcmanus. I mean it's okay but I think the rules are to steep. I think you guys are doing a good job but come on now i got iss for 7periods because i was late to a class and another teacher made me late!

McManus Middle School is great! The teachers are helpful and will always try to grab your attention with fun games, skits, and more! They have a wide assortment of activities, video club, diversity club, sports, student council, and a whole lot more. The only thing that could be bad for it is a couple of naughty students, but they're usually taken care of. McManus is without a doubt one of the best middle schools in the NJ!

McManus is fun and cool. I love the teachers and they always take there time and help us students out with problems and try to helo us to the best of their ability. A;though we have a few problems regarding bullying and fights that break out through out the year. I think that schould be a minimum. but other that that school has been a wonderful exspiriance and I love going to school monday-Friday for 180 days.

My child began middle school and as any other parent I was very concerned. Thus far my child has excelled at McManus. The method of instruction has met my standards. I also like the fact that they have plenty of extra-curricular activities available to the students. They have great after school clubs. The school had a play recently the Music Man and it was wonderful. They incorporated the drama and art club to do the stage props. The only downfall is that there isn't a great level of parental involvement. I chaperoned a couple of the school dances and it was always the same handful of parents. Also the attendance at the PTA meetings was limited. Parents need to be more involved especially for this age group. I am very happy with McManus thus far. Keep up the great work.

This school is so far so good. They have a new math program, which is great for the kids their. One of them best schools in Linden.

Mcmanus is a wonderful school. I graduated with the class of 2004, I believe that this school has changed my life drastically for the better definantly, I still miss this school and come back to visit monthly I loved all of the teachers they also changed my life, they made me feel confident with myself and want to learn, Mostly everything i left behind here will never leave me... but i do know that a huge part of me is still in that school, and i will never forget my 3 years i spent there. - Bethany

McManus is a very good school, the teachers work together with the kids to help them understand and encourages them to ask questions. I do however, have a fear of the growing number of kids that are involved in gangs or gang activity. I believe that McManus needs to have more after school programs that will grab the attention of the students to help keep them off the streets.

I believe that the teachers at this school are committed and determined to teach their students. The schoiol's extra-curricular programs include newspaper, extreme club, and computer club. We also have softball, baseball, basketball (girls and boys), boys wrestling and soccer (boys and girls).
