my son loves it, study island its amazing for studying at home, very helpful and easy to use. Ms Cannici its a great teacher and has helped my son very much!! My son and I loved Hilltop elementary.
To the parent who said there is no parentel involvement. Go to the meetings. This is a wonderful school. The principal and the staff could not be better quality
For the parent who said that there is not enough parent involment I am sure that if you wnated to get involed you could. I went to Hilltop my sister and brothers went to Hilltop my x husband and his brothers wwnt to Hilltop and my son also went to Hilltop and now my granddaugher is in Hilltop and her Mom and Aunt went there too. I think that it is a very good school and really cares about the kids that go there.
Hilltop School has been and always will be the best school. I went there and now my kids and siblings go there. The teaching system is great and even the staff.
Academic Quality is great. Music, Art, Sports seem to be minimal but sufficient. Parent involvement is excellant.

The quality of their academic programs are not the greatest. In the school letter ranking system from A to E, A being the lowest, Lodi ranks a 'B'. In regard to their music and art programs, they offer a very sparse music class that begins in kindergarten, but the children are not exposed to art until the third grade. There are not many school sponsered extracurricular activities for the students of Hilltop. For 2nd and 3rd graders, they have 'Just Say No to Drugs' meetings, which are held January through April, once a month on Wednesdays. There is the occasional dance for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. By the behavior of the majority of the students, not only is there no parental involvement at school, there is no parental involvement at home.
I am so blessed to have both my children in Hilltop. My son is a very special ed. child who is being mainstreamed. The Principal is the most personable leader I have ever worked with. My special child has a wonderful, caring and most of all, a teacher who is interested in learning to have him in mainstream school.
