I had one child attend this school and graduated a couple of years ago and I currently have one child attending this school in 7th grade. One thing that both my kids have brought up while attending this school is that the teachers are always texting and going on Facebook. I have to say Shame on You to the teachers and for the Principal and Vice Principal for not instructing teachers for this not to be allowed while class is in session. Talk about many kids with cell phones and computers being so obsessive with them, look where the example is coming from. PRINCIPAL AND VICE PRINCIPAL MUST PUT A STOP TO THIS SOON!! OR THE BOARD OF EDUCATION JUST MAY HEAR ABOUT IT SOON ENOUGH.

I performed with three other friends as a Barbershop Quartet at the school's talent show in 2008. The administration was very helpful and the event seemed to be very well organized. The kids performing were excited, happy to be involved and some were truly talented. As adults invited to supplement the program, we felt very well treated and the audience loved our act. I would be happy to return. I can't say anything about the academic standing of the school, but this was a happy and vibrant program that left me with a positive attitude toward their overall social attributes and efforts for good clean community involvement.

Some teachers dont even teach right, and the students are very rowdy, that cops even get involved...The school had to get uniforms, due to kids getting bullied about designer brands, but i guess its also how the kids dress..Im sorry but i dont think this school is great.... The principals try to help the students, but the students just wont listen..

Every school deserves to be better and every child deserves a better school. My kids go to TJMS -not bad at all, but with budget cuts around the corner this school doesnt stand a chance and the kids will suffer one way or another.

I disagree tjms is a great school! The principal and teachers are very supportive. The TJMS basketball, and cheerleading teams are great. There is no field but there is a very large gym and spacious auditorium.TJMS is a very good school.
