I would like to wish Mrs. Linda Masullo a happy and healthy retirement. My two older kids who attended this school were saddened to hear of your retirement. Through the years parents may have said mean things about you but I think you were a fairly well principal, you'll be missed.

My daughter attends wilson school. If you have a certain wonderful preschool teacher (Mrs. C) then you are blessed for one year. she's the kind of teacher parents dream about there child having. Her kindergarten teacher was good bu it's all down hill from there. The other grade teachers are just ok. The principal acts like a bully. She walks around the parking lot in the morning yelling at everyone. I have witnessed on SEVERAL occasions her screaming at the teachers and other staff. I understad being a principal isn't easy however we should teach no tolerance when it comes to bullying and how can we expect our children to learn that when they daily see there principal behaving like a bully?

I would like to say that Mrs. Carafa, the pre-k teacher is absolutely wonderful! She is sweet, understanding and patient with the kids. I turned to her for help with my son and she immediatly responded. But I must say that I am disappointed with the school overall, because 1) they do not offer extra curricular activities, 2) no after school care for working parents and I feel that maybe the school is behind in learning skills. I have two children in the school and going on three next year, but if I could help it I may switch them from schools.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with this school. I've had 1 child start this school in Kidergarten and another started in Preschool. One is now in 7th grade T.J.M.S. & the other is still in this school in 4th grade. They've always been happy attending this school. I will have another child attend this school in a couple of years and feel confident about it. I strongly favor the Preschool teacher, Mrs. Carafa & the Kidergarten teacher, Mrs. DeMarco.

My daughter started attending Wilson @ the end of 1st grade. She is now in 3rd grade. She has had excellent teachers and is involved in many school activities. The teachers offer encouragement and help the kids attain their highest possible level of learning! I am very happy with the school.

Wilson School is relatively a good school. There was a certain grade (2nd) that I was not happy with. This opinion comes from the fact that I had 2 children that had the same 2nd grade teacher. I felt both of my children seemed to fall behind in 3rd grade because there was no reinforcement in there 2nd grade education. After months of conferences and working together with the 3rd grade teachers, my child's grades improved dramatically. Some teachers are better at positive reinforcement that others I suppose, but when it comes to education, all teachers should be on the same page.

Our family came into the school district towards the end of the 2004/05 school year. I found the office staff very helpful and friendly. The teachers were very helpful in ensuring my children made friends. They also went above and beyond in getting my children adjusted to a new daily routine, dealing with more homework and making sure homework assignments were clearly written down for the day. All those 'extra's' have made my children make a VERY smooth transition into a new school and I can't thank them enough! As an extra plus, my son's handwriting has improved as well as his homework habits!
