This school is great it has alot of technology and it has just been built over.
Long Branch High School is a newly built school that now has bigger classrooms, new security system, bigger science labs...let's put it this way: the newer school is so much better than the school before the remodeling.
Its an excellent school, good teachers their very fair, good curiculems, and great teaching programs...I LOVE IT!!!
Great school...my kid went their and now goes to MIT.
Long branch high school is a great place and every one has great school sprite, but no freedom or leeway fro students at all overall it a great school with great kids.
I loved going to LB school.
Long Branch is a great school. I'm currently a sophmore there and feel that the teachers and administration care a lot about are futures.
My child attended the LB Public school system and graduated from LBHS recently. We found teachers who were dedicated to making a difference in the students' lives. The quality of the academic programs offered depended on many things such as the students' individual needs and levels. The school offers many extracurricular activities and even offers tutoring before and after school. If a child is willing to try there is no reason why he or she should not succeed. Parental involvement in seriously lacking except for the gifted and accelerated programs. Perhaps this why those students are successful. Administration does not seem to value the parents, students or teachers.
I recently graduated from LBHS, and I have to say it has good potential to be a good school but right now it s still lagging behind. The extracurricular activities are at a good level, with a very good band, great soccer team, and the other arts are up there too. I believe one of the major problems with the school is that teachers don t get enough free will to teach the classes as they please, they are forced to teach straight from the book and can take few liberties to help students in a more unorthodox way, which is what I believe is keeping the students from acceding to their full potential. On an overall scale the teachers are good, and many go above and beyond to teach their students.
I taught at Long Branch for two weeks. Total lack of discipline and rampant chaos throughout the school. At least in the Liberal Arts LBHS was a disaster. One star is a generous rating
