My son is in the 7th grade here and he loves it!! The music program is great and the play that they put on was so full of talent you wouldn't believe that it was middle school presenting it. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming and the teachers really are concerned for the well being of the students. I would highly recommend any of the Lumberton schools. We are in the military and have to move on....but we will truly miss these schools!!

We moved to Lumberton over the summer. My son choose to leave his Catholic School to attend LMS. He never felt like an out-sider. He was welcomed by both his peers and facility. (and my son is very shy) LMS is a place where you feel at ease. Everyone gets along and the teachers are very approachable. When you email the teachers they email you back within 24hrs or less. My son loves that we made the move and wouldn't change a thing. Lumberton is a great place.

Lumberton middle school is a very well educated school. Lumberton provides students with excellent teaching along with extracurriculars. In the school there is a great atmosphere. It is not hard to become liked by many of your peers and you may learn that you are instantly popular just by being a new student. Lumberton is like a big family in which they greet everyone. In Lumberton no one is and outcast, because there is always someone there just like you. In Lumberton Middle School the children are very social. Unlike other schools children from the sixth grade hang out with children the eighth grade. This is an excellent school that provides children with an excellent learning atmosphere!

One of my children just graduated from the Lumberton school district and my second child will graduate in 2 years. The education my oldest child received has prepared her well for all of the accelerated classes the high school offers. Our family could not be happier with the exceptional environment and education provided by the Lumberton School district. I would highly recommend sending you child there.

My son really enjoyed going to school at Lumberton Middle School for the sixth grade. Unfortunuatly we had to leave after the year. I would have loved for my son to graduate this school. He was in the Gifted and Talented class and a lot of other classes. They do an okay job on teaching the different languages. This is an excellent school and I encourage you to put your kids in this school.

This is an outstanding school. All four of my children attended it. It has a gifted/talented program, French and Spanish teachers, and a great instrumental music program. Guidance counselors and teachers are very helpful.

My children are very happy in the school. The have art, music,language, speech,and most of all I think they have great teachers too.
