It's a serious yet very friendly school, consisting of smart and competent faculty and staff, and a safe, clean and pretty environment. I also think that the students and their families are among NJ's nicest people!
George Washington is an excellent mix of quality leadership and dedication from the principal and teachers along with the parents. This helps create a wonderful foundation for children. My daughter is currently a 2nd grader and loves the school. Each one of her teachers has been as good as the one prior. Mahwah's children are in good hands thanks to George Washington.
This is a fabulous, small school kindergarten through third grade, where children learn, achieve and grow. Great parent's organization, fundraising events and peer safety emphasis. A truly wonderful foray into the world of learning.
