I have had two children pass attend this School and do well but when my youngest attended years 2008-2010 things changed. The Principal seems to do well with the Academics but the serious problem in this School is no Discipline. The Bullying is out of hand and Children are being forced to be Home Schooled. The Principal is completely incompident in her Disciplinary decisions often causing more problems for the well behaved Students. The Board is well aware of her poor decision making skills but continue teo let her run the School. It seems the Girls are worse then he Boys. Be aware if you have a Child in this School their safety is in question, it is only a matter of time before on lashes out and something serious happens.

I am a student at SRMS, and I have to say that this school is amazing. I have only one complaint. The 'Fun Run' is awful. But, overall, SRMS is the best school a student could attend.

I have two children who have passed through and one now attending. Self starters will make the best of this school. The only issue I have is that one of my children is not a self starter and had some issues. We are involved parents but did not know of our child's problems until it was almost too late. Had the teachers let us know she wasn't handing in her homework we could have nipped the problem in the bud. As it was, her grades suffered. Not blaming anyone but my child, but had the teachers communicated with us, we would have addressed the problem earlier and her grades would have been better Otherwise the school has great techers and a commitment to a well rounded education.

This school is the best school i ever went to. I love being there each and everyday. The 1 thing i dont like is the 'fun run'. The kids hate doing that and it is not fun at all

I am a student at Srms, I love the teachers and the way the school is. My english teacher is the best one I ever had. This school also has some of the best history teachers. The programs that are offered to the kids i think very good.

My 7th grader has been struggling all year with his grades. His teachers seem to have a 'sink or swim' attitude and we are very unhappy. Neither his teachers or his guidance counselor have even tried to call us with any concerns. We never had this problem with our older children who went through this school. We hope to move out of this school system in the near future.

Child just completed summer school after failing one subject in 7th grade. Got impression teacher whose class he failed didn't care either way. Summer school teacher from different township was awesome!!! My child passed with flying colors!! Different teaching techniques and teacher attitude make all the difference!! Southern needs to make available transportation for summer school students, as well...saw dangerous circumstances because of no transportation for these kids!
