Worst discrimination practices I've ever seen in a school. Admissions is a far cry from reality.

I am currently a student at MATES and am extremely impressed by everything about the school. Our education is of the highest quality, we do loads of hands-on activities, and we're always having fun no matter what. We have opportunities that no other high school has. Even though we work hard, it;s worth the extra effort because of the school's unique style. Here everyone gets along and everyone is friends, even the teachers. All of our teachers are absolutely wonderful and fully qualified teachers. They all manage to teach on an almost college level, giving students maximum education, but also make class exciting. MATES is the best school I've ever attended and in my opinion the best that exists.

I am not a parent, but a former student of MATES. This school was the best thing that has happened to me. The hands-on experience was something that most high school students do not get. My four years of high school were the best four years of my life. The teachers were great; I wish I could have taken every one of them to college with me. They weren't just my teachers, they were my friends. Both students and parents were involved in most or all of the goings-on of the school, including the starting of any groups and clubs.

This school is amazing. The school works on the block system, four classes twice a year - double math and science. The school is hard and there is competition to get in, but it is worth it. My oldest has been in for two years and I hope to have my younger son there in a year. The new building opens this September so no more sharing which was the only problem before.
