Wemrock Brook Elementary School

My son transferred here from a private school. From the first month he was at Wemrock Brook, he could not say enough about the school. He was apprehensive about going to a new school, but he adapted and made friends quickly. He had the best teacher, she really cared about her students.

Great job of preparing kids for Middle School. Great after school activities, great hands on teaching experience w/ students. Teacher's make great effort to ensure student's understand the materials being taught.

My son just started this school, moving from Northern NJ (Tenafly). Although Tenafly is considered having best schools in NJ, my son enjoys Wemrock Brook much better. Here is why: - School Bus (last school didn't have it) - Lessons structure (he explained that he likes how the day is structured, that after lunch, the lessons are easier and more fun, which makes the day much shorter and him enjoying school more) - Brand new beautiful building (school is very cool looking, blue/yellow metal and a lot of glass/windows, which makes it very airy) - Modern equipment (each class equipped with MAC computers, projector, TV - the day starts with The Pledge of Allegiance, as well as local and weather news done by kids) - Lunch (Tenafly school didn't have a choice of lunch, I had to pre-order it in advance and if for some reason my son got tired of it - you are stuck with it + lunch is literally twice less expensive in Wembrock Brook!) - Teachers (my son enjoys all of the teachers) - Everything is less expensive (in Tenafly - tons of things cost more, like Halloween dance, etc - 2-4 times more!) - School seems to have more structure, which I feel is good for young kids.

My son was thrilled to go to Wemrock Brook every day. Great, caring teachers were able to make classes and afterschool activities educational and fun. Parents were always welcomed in school. When we moved to New Jersey from New York State, our son had some issues catching up on the school s curriculum. His teacher developed a program individually for him. To make a long story short, my son was on the honor roll by the end of that year. My husband and I are very thankful to the school for making our son s and our experience the one we will always remember.

Wemrock Brook school provides a very good learning environment for the kids. Excellent facilities and talented teachers.

My son has never been happier and he is doing better than ever. The teachers are all top-notch!
