the teachers care about the students and it is a close knit school system with good communication.

My daughter graduated MTHS last year. Currently she attends college on a HUGE academic scholarship! She is also in her college's honors program. I feel MTHS did a great job preparing her for college. Mrs Williams in guidance is WONDERFUL! She really guided my daughter into the right classes (honors) and took personal interest in my child! My son is attending MTHS right now and following in his siter's footsteps. I am sure he too, will be offered academic scholarships for college.

I have been to a few schools in my life; Most were in the Manchester school district. When I left New Jersey and moved to North Carolina, I transferred to a school called Piedmont High. It was the worst school I have ever been to. I look back at going to Manchester and I wish that I would have done better because my teachers gave me a lot of opportunity and they never gave up on me and my laziness.

As a senior at Manchester Twp High School, i feel that my last four years there have been nothing less than amazing. All the teachers have committed themselves to excellence, and would not accept anything less from students then what is expected. Manchester has normal school ups and downs, yet never have I not felt safe. I believe that yes the guidance department could be a little more motivating, but that should not detract from the light of excellence that has shone throughout our school from long-time graduates to the most recent graduates.

I agree that this school is a good school, and better than most. Yet, due to many of my fellow peer's actions this school can some of the time not be a safe and healthy place to be.

My child is about to graduate from Manchester HS. The teachers are good...more can have a master's degree. My child is an average student, doing average work, which this child would be doing in ANY school. I do believe my child was pushed to the extent necessary,. I do not feel all needs were met. The academic programs are good. There is band, chorus, show choir, basketball, football, baseball, tennis, field hockey, soccer, swim, etc. I believe the children have many choices. There is a good variety of extracurricular activities. I wish the guidance department was more motivating. Luckily there are caring teachers to get the child through.

I graduated in 2004. I think that the school district is great. The high school has excellent teachers who are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. Also, I know many students who have gone not only to 4-year universities, but Ivy League ones at that. Many go on to pursue Master's Degrees. There are athletes whom have graduated and play their respective sport at NCAA Division I schools and a drafted with full scholarships. The teachers are involved wtih the students and make their best effort to help them succeed. Also, there are many clubs and most of the students do get involved. I personally know that the SGA, Habitat for Humanity, PEPP Club, and Interact Club advisors are heavily involved with the students in the organizations.

As a former student that went to this school, I felt it was a school that was fine tuned to my academic needs in the accelerated programs, and the availability of clubs and sports was not as lush as other districts but it fits the school's personality.
