HORRIBLE SCHOOL !!! My children have nothing but " Negative " things to say about this school. Unfair and Unfriendly staff, this school has New leadership but no effective changes have been made and the poor educational enviorment that previously existed continues. As a Mom I would never recommend a school like this to any parent.
Terrible School, Poor Leadership, Poor Teachers and not a good educational value for your tax dollar. I would not recommend this school to any parent and I agree with one of the writers statement below " this school is one of the worst in NJ ".
I'm still less than satisfied with Evans. I would echo several of the sentiments below. Very clicky overall. Staff, PTA and administration.
I am very surprised by the negative reviews. Although I have had some negative experiences over the years, my overall opinion of Evans is very high. I absolutely love my children's teachers this year. I think it's a shame the negative reviewers have attributed their poor experiences to all of the teachers and the entire staff at Evans, that just hasn't been my experience over the past 3 years. And, no, I am not part of any clique, just a regular parent pleased with Evans.
I believe that Evans is one of the worst schools in NJ. The administrators are incompetent and the teachers are clueless. I suggest you avoid this school at all cost. Move to another school district or enroll your child in private school.
I think the principal doesa a wonderful job!!! He knows who enters the building at all times and the kids love him.
In my family's experiences, we have found Evans to be a wonderful school with great teachers, a very supportive administration, and an overall nurturing, pleasant environment. I am so happy that our children have had the opportunity to attend Evans school.
Florence V. Evans School in my experience has been a disappointment. There is no pull-out gifted & talented program. The Principal & guidance counselor have also been huge disappointments as well. If I could do it all over again I would have moved to Voorhees, Osage district.
