It has a wonderful welcoming environment and the people are interested in your child. I reminds me of my elementary school, its like going home again.
This is one of the good schools that my children have attended. Academics are satisfactory , but I am not impressed with the quality of plays that are performed or the sports or lack of sport opportunities at Cranberry Pines. There are no extracurricular activities to speak of except brownies and girl scouts. Level of parent involvement is adequate.
This is my 2nd child in CP and it is worth the high taxes. The teachers are great, willing to work with you. The art classes are comprehensive, the media center is fab & there are so many parents willing to volunteer, they have to turn people away. I do think that the parental involvement is a big plus. The principal is vary fair & that secretary - she won't have to ask you your name twice! She is amazing. I am very pleased with the education my child is receiving.
Excellent teachers willing to spend extra time with their students. Parents are obviously part of the success here and are involved. All students are encouraged and supported by the staff to excel.
