My experience with this school as a parent and as a teacher in another district for 20+ years has been excellent. The teachers are highly qualified and caring. Instruction is planned to meet the individual needs of the students. Parents are regularly informed of student progress. The principal is very caing and knows her students. The school has a wonderful sense of community and encourages active parent participation.
There is not enough supervision in this school. Conditions are not safe while construction is going on.
I am a parent and i have found this school to be awful. My child has told me that his teacher would never stop yelling, the classes did not help anyone learn. I would not recommend this school to anyone.
I moved here last year and am very happy with the staff and teacher and overwhelming care and repect of both parents and teachers alot of inside and out of school activities keep the kids in contact and very motivated a comunity that is both diverse and wholsome filled with young families
Just moved to the community from another district in Monmouth County. So far we are not impressed with the Millstone School District. Millstone El. is overcrowded, academics are average, no programs for gifted children, and the administrative staff is among the highest paid in the county! The teaching staff does average among the highest in the level of education they possess, but unfortunately that does not trickle down to our children. Taxes go directly into their pockets and do not reach our children, i.e. lowest per pupil expenditure. We hope top have a better experience in the Middle School.
Above average academics. Great staff and good parent involvement. There are no gifted and talented programs available to enrich the educational experience of an academically advanced child.
