This school is awesome! Mrs. Barry is the best principal this town has ever had! I can not say enough good things about how she has made a difference. The teachers for the most part are very good and will always help a child in need. Parent contact is very good as well. The sports programs are top rated! Many clubs and fun things for the kids to be involved in. Three wonderful years spent here. My kids will miss this school and so will I!

The Millstone Twp. Middle School is a wonderful place to send your children. Do not listen otherwise. Starting with Mrs. Barry, you can not find a better principal. This town is lucky to have her. Teachers are good, some not as good, but the good out weighs the bad. It was a big concern about the academic program at first, not happy with some things, but again overall a good program. We will miss this school upon graduation and the staff/parent/kid relationships which have been formed.

The teachers are terrific. The Interim Principal and the rest of the staff get very involved with the parents and students. The health and phs-ed program, lead by Joe Muny, with Anthony Stillitano is second to none. I have graduate and 2 in the school and love it.

I love Millstone Middle School. It's a great place to be a teenager. All you parents need to get a grip because where else are you going to send your kids? If your children are walking around in skanky skirts its because you are bad parents.

I dont know where all these negative reviews about Millstone Middle School are coming from. The new school is phenomenal (it would be even better if our budgets would get passed) Classrooms are state of the art, performing art center is wonderful and most teachers do a great job. Class size is still an issue but overall, student who apply themselves can do very well. Test scores are always great and the kids really enjoy all the extracurricular activities. The only complaints I hear about this school are from parents whose kids have issues. Parents love to place the blame on the administrators and staff when it really is their fault.

This is a great & growing school district where the adults work to make the student safe. Their academic program is getting more rigourous with time.

The academics could be more rigorous and extracurricular expanded. Communication with parents seems cursory or nonexistent. The district wants to add more administrative personnel, when I feel we need better offerings in the classroom instead of more administrators for a district with one elementary and one middle school. I would like the school to become more ambitious academically.

I hardly know where to begin! This is the worst school I have ever worked in and I have been in some very difficult schools including Fort Green, Brooklyn. The administration should be ashamed of themselves. There is a grave lack of support given to the teachers, discipline is nearly non-existent, and the students run the school! This school is in desperate need of a character education program! The students (girls in particular) walk around in skirts that barely cover them. There is a dress code, but it is not enforced. High grades are handed out left and right to keep the parents quiet. The special education services are attrocious! Students are reaching grade six and beyond barely reading! They do not provide any 1-1 assistance for these students and if I were their parent I would have an attorney breathing down their necks. This school has lost it's way!

My Grandchildren have gone to Millstone school all their lives. It had been a great school untill late years. There is no longer one on one contact. It is over crowded, and teachers have to much to do. Therefoe one person can not go one on one with students. It is time for a change in this school.

I am not to happy with this school. I feel they push the kids to much. So much homework. Too many tests on one particular day. It is all about money. I am not to happy with the quality of teachers. My son has been going here since kindergartin (5th grade now) and out of that entire time I have only thought one teacher was excellent. I also feel that trying to get any answers from the office is horrible. I have been trying to get my sons class photo for almost 4 months. Office help always say, 'Let me check into it' Never get an answer. The teachers never reply to emails unless they have a problem with your child. I am so happy we are moving out of this school. My son is excited to leave and go to a new school, which is good.
