Recent Reviews
As a former teacher at MJ Elementary, I can say from experience that the quailty of the teachers is high and that the school is not afraid to let teachers go if they fail to meet the high standards that are expected. The building is old, especially when compared to the newer schools within the district, but it is still a great environment. There are numerous academic support programs in place and the needs of the students are the top priority. IF you are a parent who likes to be involved in the classroom, this is the school for you! There are a number of programs, particulary literacy initiatives that are completely staffed by volunteer parents.
