Good school, nice environment, but this town needs a middle school. 6th, 7th and 8th grade students shouldn't be in the same school as 3rd graders... not a realistic middle school to prep for Morristown High School.

Morris Plains Borough School is an outstanding place for students to learn, grow, and receive preparation as citizens of the 21st Century. The building principal is a creative, collaborative, and nurturing leader who has taken the school to new heights. This past Spring the school was awarded a State of New Jersey Best Practice from the New Jersey Department of Education. The teaching staff is diversified and remains on the cutting edge of education. Staff members are dedicated and committed individuals who are extremely child-centered. The building is currently undergoing renovations to build a new cafeteria, air condition the school, create a technology lab, and enhance the computer laboratory. Without a doubt Borough School is a top rate institution where students flourish in a nurturing and caring environment.

Borough is a very good school. Children are placed in classes according to who the teachers think that they will get along with. They have many of the best teachers in the county. But then, the kids eat lunch on a stage, there is no air conditioning, the principal is not up to standard, and the Student Council has no influence at all. But, other than that, it is a great school! Ok, now it's time to try this from a kid's point of veiw: the regular teachers are good, except for a certain two that I will not name, but the substitutes are not all that great. Ok, they stink. And the Student Council does nothing! But other than that I really think that it is a good school.
