This is a good school but could use some attention in the sciences and math. Very good choir program.

The school has an excellent music program with choir and band trips to perform at Disney World every 2 years. They put on excellent theater productions twice yearly. There is good cultural diversity with kids from many backgrounds. Self motivated students will do well. For kids who need more supervision it can be difficult to get timely teacher feedback and individualized help. You may not know your child didn't do any homework till mid term, but some teachers will email home. Although teachers have a web page to post assignments where parents can see them few seem to take advantage of this. Socially the kids have a good time with plenty of school events like dances and sports. My kids have enjoyed their time at PHHS.

My name is Kathleen Pesantes and I am the Activity and Volunteer Coordinator, and I would just like to say that the student that have volunteered at my facility have been wonderful, and it all stems from great upbring, and great education.

PHHS is the best school. I had a lot of fun in the school. The staff is great and the environment is safe and friendly. It prepares a student for college. The teachers are very understanding and helps student when in need. I would love to go back to Par Hills but can't.I graduated in 2008... Great School

Par Hills is not diverse. The school does not value parental involvement and the teachers are sub standard. They do not give progress reports on time and if you child needs your help you will never know it until it is too late. This school is for students who can survive without parental help.

I graduated from PHHS in 2004 and continued onto Auburn University. PHHS prepared me for college so well that it takes little effort to achieve. I have a 3.51 GPA in college and I know that most of my friends are experiencing the same things. PHHS has a caring faculty and motivated students can experience their freshman year of college during their senior year. PHHS also has a great athletic program with their football, wrestling and basketball teams competing yearly for county and state championships. The music program is great for any level of involvement. Student contributions can range from casual musician to being in the award winning marching band to participating in the state choir. PHHS did not experience a large 'clique' problem that is prevalent in most schools. Everyone seemed to get along. PHHS is a great school and an outstanding, safe environment for all students.

ParHills is a diverse, interesting, academically challenging environment, and I wholly enjoyed my time there. I'd most definitely recommend the district to anyone who wants to raise intelligent, open-minded children.
