Overall Parkway is an excellent school with dedicated teachers and great students.
My son attended Parkway for 5 years and it was such a wonderful experience. Parkway and the Circle of Giving creates such a caring environment!
My daughter went to Parkway School for 2nd and 3rd grade and loved it there. The teachers really care about the students. My daughter has moved on to another school but was well prepared by Parkway.
I have been a Parkway parent for 6 years now and it is a great school with wonderful teachers. The PTO is also a wonderful group of caring parents who want the best for their children. We have a lot of fun while helping our children. The PTO President is great and they do welcome new parents with open arms!
I have been a Parkway Mom for the last 4 yrs. With very strong PTO involvement for the last 3. I think the PTO of Parkway is the best. The support of the PTO has proven to be beneficial to both the students, teachers and administrators. We are far from clicky, it's more of a parental bond we share for the interest of our children and the school. Our current PTO President has, by far, been wonderful in her attempts to organize and run smoothly a very diverse group of parents, teachers and administrators. A volunteer task that many would not take on. Hats off to you, PTO President, for a job extremely well done.
I don't know what that negative PTO rating was about....I have been involved both as a parent, an as a faculty member for 15 years, and the present PTO is absolutely the most dedicated and hard working bunch I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The 'Clique' is the handful of always volunteering, always open for suggestions parents who have tirelessly worked for the advancement of Parkway, the same faces who we always see around the school and community, helping staff at fundraisers when no one else volunteers. I am proud to be a Parkway alumnus!
I have been a Parkway parent and PTO member for 3 years and cannot say enough wonderful things about Parkway School and Parkway families. The teachers and staff at the school are so dedicated to ensuring that each and every child receives a quality education. It is such a loving and nurturing environment! The PTO works tirelessly to make the Parkway experience positive for all students and their families. Any parent that expresses a desire to help at any of the numerous school functions is accepted and welcomed with much appreciation. I am proud to say that my child attends Parkway School!
My children have gone to Parkway since kindergarten and we love this school. It is a very open and caring place with a large and active PTO. If a parent wan s to get involved with their children's school this school offers lots of opportunities.
I am new to the school district this year. I do not feel that this school is very open to new people. Also, believe it or not I feel that that the PTO is so closed minded on their cliques even at this age, it's terrible. How are we to teach our kids good morals, if the PTO including the president are just so rude?
