The teachers are good, but the social environment is toxic. If they aren't "born and raised" in Mountain Lakes, your kids will have a HORRIBLE time here.

If your kid is sporty and tough, they will have a great time. If they are sensitive, different or not rich (wearing the right clothes etc.), forget it. Many kids are 'left out' and have to go to counselling. Very comfortable, all is taken care of, very active HSA. Academic pressure prepares well for the local high school. No need to go private, you go private if your kid can't hack it.
