I attended this school from 1st grade to 8th grade, before going on to public school. Since then, I went on to go to college early, leave college early, establish and sell a highly successful multinational business. I credit Wilson with these successes. The teachers were able to customize the curriculum to meet my individual needs, and to establish the discipline to word hard and achieve goals. My public school experience, and in fact my college experience didn't do that: the Wilson School did.

Reading the four reviews of The Wilson School brought back a flood of pleasant memories of our years there, 8 years in all as a proud parent. It certainly prepared our daughters for the real world and broadened their horizons. They reached for the sun and moon and got there. Many thanks to The Wilson School, I note they are continuing to educate in so many areas, a truly wonderful experience!

I couldn't be happier with the quality of teachers at the Wilson School. Each student is given the opportunity to be themselves, and is encouraged to discover their strengths and talents. Being a small school, their talents are recognized and nurtured. If you are looking for a school that is safe, where the parents are actively involved, and an accepting, family environment, then this is the school for you.

Seriously, Wilson rocks! I am finishing my last year there and couldn't be more prepared for high school. Everyone is really nice, but the social life can get extremely boring sometimes. Its a good academic school, but not really socially. I still highly recommend this school, but if your child is a 'drama queen' it may not be right for you.

This school is excellent for a self-motivated gifted child, since with the tiny class sizes and the philosophy of the school, such children can skip ahead in many subjects (or grade levels) according to their ability and achievement level. This school could also be good for a child with mixed abilities or some slight learning difficulties or weaknesses, although that sort of child is somewhat less appreciated and the teachers somewhat less knowledgeable about working with such children; although perhaps this will improve over time as more parents demand more on behalf of those students who fit that category. Overall, it is a very safe-feeling family type of atmosphere and particularly during the younger grades, the children are overall very happy in this school compared to typical children in other schools. There are several absolute gems that are talented and loving teachers here, although not all.

This is a wonderful school with exceptional teachers. Because of the small class size, the teachers can give children attention that they need to excel. The school offers extracurricular activities ranging from private music lessons to fencing. The teachers are thoughtful and helpful to the children and parents. My daughter actually looks forward to school every morning and is excited about learning french! I highly recommend this school.
