I do agree with one of the parents who wrote about not recommending the school to anyone. Most of the parents that I have talked to over this summer are either homeschooling their child or just not sending them not only to the Middle School, but also the elementary schools. Our household is functioning on only one income, but we are making a sacrifice to send out son to Catholic school just so he would not have to go to Neptune Middle School. The kids are out of control and there is a lot of politics involved. If the teachers or Administration knows you or any of your family members then your child will have the priority over learning. I'd rather just pay for my child's education and have him get an equal education.

I am a parent and Neptune Middle School is not a school I would recommend to anyones child. The assistant principal does not have the best interest of the child. She picks ans chose what parents she will listen to. My child was harrassed really bad, and neither principal or his assistant was no help at all. I even went to the BOE and still no results. The principal himself, also could care less about the students safety. Hate Neptune Middle.

Hi I'm a 7th grader at Neptune Middle School. I'm in the honors classes and let me say, they are hard. Most (Key word most) of the teachers are really, nice, have great teaching techniques, and really care for us! I think the parent participation is OK but it could be better. The students can be a little, well tough but what school dosent have a couple of bad guys?? This school is a pretty good school to go to as long as you make friends and get along with the teachers you should be fine! ;)

This is a wonderful school with great teachers and parents that really care. This school does as much as they can to see that their students are safe, happy, and become well educated. Both parents and students love NMS.

I would not recommend this school if your child falls somewhere below high honors, but no where near special education. This school does not have the time or resources to encourage a child that may need an extra push or provide guidance toward a path where a student has strengths. Either your child gets it or he/she will get left behind. Unfortunately, because of the times we live in, a lot of emphasis is put on discipline and security.

School is great. It starts with the principal Ms. Smith-Smith. She is hands on and helpful. She is a teacher and disciplinarian. The teachers go above and beyond the call of duty to keep the parents informed with regard to good and bad things. Highly recommend this school. Have 1 child here and 1 that has graduated from here and is in the high school right now!
