Okay, so this school may not seem like the most amazing school out there at first, though it is actually really good. I currently go to NMHS, and I feel that the teachers are really kind and approachable. They are always supporting students to do better, and get a good grade. The athletics are also amazing. The coaches support everyone, and since this school is small, they observe everyone, and really work to help the students get better. Also, the teachers that work for the musicals, really put in a lot of time and effort to help students. They spend HOURS and HOURS after school, and spend time with students. I have no idea how to explain how amazing the teachers really are here. Of course, there are a few ups and downs, though the teachers work so hard, it's unbelievable.

I graduated NMHS several years ago. Basically it is a joke. I would have been better of home schooling myself. It does not prepare you for college at all. I see that they've made some improvements to the way the school looks inside, which is good since the school was falling apart when I was there. It was embarrassing when other towns would come and visit our high school for athletics. Hopefully the new teachers that have been hired will inspire some new life in the school. But seeing how SAT and standardized test scores continue to be at the bottom of Bergen County schools, I'm not all the hopeful.

I have been teaching at New Milford High School for almost five years, and I am extremely proud of my position there and the incredible staff that I work with. Reading through the old reviews, I understand how some people may have had some poor experiences, but the school is definitely on the upswing, and the staff is working harder than ever to create the best environment possible for the students. Go Knights!!

The improvement in the school over the past few years is wonderful. Some young, new teachers are great and the new principal is doing some awesome things. It still has some things to fix, but I think they are headed in the right direction. The athletics and clubs are great too.

The school has improved dramatically during the last few years. The leadership of Mr. Ammerman and Principal Eric Shenninger have brought much needed life into the New Milford High School. Programs have been upgraded and morale has improved among staff and students.

Good school. Very difficult to get AP classes, and the guidance department is almost none existent. My daughter graduated from there and went to a top notch college, but she was a fighter. My son is still there, and although he is a very bright boy, they do not challenge him at all, and the school do not motivate the children to take advance classes or to do better. Some teachers are boring and do not work hard enough to engage the children into the class.

other than a few bad teachers, this school is not all bad. With soem changes in administration, I think it is on a good track. This school has great sports, and the best fans. Also, there are a lot of clubs for various types of children.

I thought I was enrolling my kid into a better school in a better school district but what a disappointment. The staff is very unprofessional, no one has an answer to your questions and you have to practically beg to get to speak to any of your kid's teachers. To sum it all up, no one in that school seems to want to do his or her job. I can't wait for the school year to be over so I could disenroll my son.

As a long time resident and unfortunately a former student of this school system I can tell you this is a school system that needs to reviewed by the state. They seem to have a double standard towards students. They also are good at trying to cover up their mistakes. I know that if I post my name while my children are in the school system they will suddenly develop 'problems'

this is a horrible school. The teachers here for the most part do not know what they are doing. the school is run down and the only nice thing about it are a few new bathrooms.
