Allen W. Roberts Elementary School

The small school size in a small town atmosphere, just 25 miles from mid town Manhattan, provides a great learning environment for young students. The small class size and the strong parent involvement ensures focus on the students activities, both academic and extra curricular. Few highlights of the school are as below 1. The school has a top notch music program - Chorus, orchestra and band, fully supported by parents, school and the town school district 3. The students have access to quality programs from the New Providence town Recreation Department. Great Soccer program for students with different skill levels, foot ball, base ball etc. Overall, this school offers a high quality academic and extra curricular experience in a very small town environment, where teachers and parents are very focussed on the quality of the programs.

AWR is a GREAT school. I have been really impressed with the quality of the education my child has received. The academics are great, there is a SmartBoard in every classroom, the teachers are excellent, and the parent involvement is great (very active PTA raises a lot of $ to provide great extra programs for the kids). We LOVE AWR!

My children have attended AWR from K through 3rd, and I am so happy with their quality of education, the great teachers, and the dedicated staff. Very, very sad to have to move away. This will be tough to beat anywhere else we go, but I am glad my kids got there start here! I have seen the teachers and staff work through some difficult situations with children and have admired how they handled it, always being first of all concerned with the child.

Allen W. Roberts school is an exciting place to learn. The environment is positive, dazzling, and inviting. The teachers are outstanding and helpful in guiding children in their lives both academically and socially.
