What preschool do you think is great in Montclair? Why?

The Watchung Co-operative Preschool is great. We just love it there because our son loves it there so much. The teachers are so warm and nurturing and very accessible. Parents are welcome in the classroom at any time so you can really get a good sense of what is going on. Plus, they make learning so much fun for the kids that they all love being there. It's a great way to foster a love of school and learning. My son has developed so much in such a short time, it is amazing! I hope all of our school experiences will be this wonderful.17143

We have been thrilled with Play n' learn daycare. Our high school senior went there and still has fond memories of it. We currently have 2 enrolled and one graduated and went to Kindergarten this year. A lot of learning through play. My daughter was more than prepared for kindergarten after leaving play n learn. A warm nuturing environment with a focus on each child as an individual. Learning at the child's pace. Lot's of outdoor hikes and playing in the sandbox, outings at the Iris gardens and walks in the reservation. Mrs. Kelly has had this school for over 30 years and many a Montclair native has gone through it's doors. I can't say enough about...if you have any questions, please ask! Flexible hours, full and half day, affordable. My 3 year old daughter cries when she can't go to school (gosh, what does that say about me!) My 5 year old not only is learning his alphabet, but simple math...all done without pressure and through games. Rainy day fun is always a big hit! and Many a misty eye at the cap n gown graduation!17142
