Our teacher have the utmost concern for our children. Some of them have been dedicated for over 30 years in Down Township. I had put 8 children thru this school in the 80's and now Im putting to more children in this school. From our new principle to the janitores, I belive that we have the best school system in Cumberlan County.
Downe Township School is a wonderful school. Although at the present time the Downe Township School does not have a Superintendent/Principal because of certain reasons, it is still a wonderful school. For the time being Mrs. Russell will be the replacement. This school has wonderful before and after school activities and required classes. They are Gifted and talented, Gym, Music, Library, Computer classes, Band, Musicals, Line dancing club, Homework club, Basketball, Cheerleading, many different kinds of Intramurals, and also a latch key sort of thing that is called Kids' Center. Downe Township is a great school!
