Agree with the prior statement. Parental involvement is needed. This school is not up to par. Pretty on the outside, but looks don't provide quality academics. The great schools rating is accurate.

Northfield Community School is ever striving to better educate our children -- parental involvement must continue to pressure the school to continually increase standards and expectations of students and teachers alike!

This is a very nice new school with teacher that love their jobs and it shows. I moved here from PA where the school districts are all Blue Ribbon. I don't understand why this school is not rated higher. It is very good.

The principal at this school is very involved and supports the teachers, which is great. It has an outstanding reputation in the community, but I've found the academic program somewhat disappointing. The school focuses on testing and not on actual child performance or learning styles.

The teachers are excellent, the school is clean and well taken care of. The Child Study Team and the teachers involved with the 'special' children are amazing. Never had a problem with the school and my children excel there!

This is a great school! We came from philadelphia public and private school so I was able to compare. The education is superb. The classroom sizes are small and they have after care and after school activities/sports for the kids. My child loves to go to school and he is learning so much. It is a breath of fresh air to know that my child is in an environment that promotes learning and is expanding his world with a wealth of information.
