Palmyra High School

I couldn't ask for more for my children. My experience at PHS has been great. The principal, teachers and counselors truly care about our children. The school is making great changes - keep up the good work.

The teachers at this school are excellent. They make every effort to make sure the students succeed. Because of its small size, the students and parents are able to get the attention they desire. Although there aren't as many courses available as other larger courses, no student is limited.

the academic programs are ok but are in need of improvement. They have very few sports but the parents are very involved in the school. The school is an ok school, but i feel that it is in need of improvement

PHS is a wonderful school with caring teachers and a competent and flexible administrative staff. It's a small school with a friendly, family type atmosphere. People are willing to work with you and your child to compromise and work through any situation if you come to the table with the same attitude. The only drawback is that some Board of Education members have their own agenda and not the best interests of the students at heart. Other then that it is a great school and a nice little community.

There are some great teachers and counseling staff at Palmyra HS. The administration can be difficult to deal with, however, and discipline issues are not handled fairly. Also, the general attitude of students could be improved, and better, more equitable disciplinary measures would go far in helping this.
