I agree with the previous post. I also bought a home in Paramus because of "the Schools". I was not impressed with this school and yanked my school out the High School after Sophmore year and place in private school in NYC. Thank godness I have family he could stay with in NYC. Dont regret paying his tuition....the education he is getting at the new school. is beyond words. Learned a BIG lesson! The suburbs are not always the answer....parents research these schools and their curriculum. I would gladly challenge them...my son is excelling and on honor roll...they dont care here at all.

There are a few excellent very involved caring teachers here and there are some very bad ones. I have two kids in this school. The language teachers are fantastic in this school. One in particular goes above and beyond. Principal is ineffective and uncaring, in my opinion and experience. Prior principal was excellent but left to retire. School does not deal with kids with disabilities well at all especially food allergic kids and others with special medical needs. I bought a home in Paramus specifically for the schools but I regret that decision based on my experience with this school. I pray the high school is better.

most teachers have bachelors degrees. The teachers are okay, but not great. There are music and art available, but no sports teams. Parents are very involved.
