My daughter is in Second Grade and is far more advanced than her friend who is in 3rd Grade in Paramus Public Schools. It's evident the Education is much better. In addition, she's happy and well adjusted and loves to go to school.

My daughter has been a student at Visitation Academy for 4 years. We are very pleased with the academic progress and the individualized attention she receives from teachers. The teachers and the principal give the children guidance on all levels.

My son started in this school since Kindergarden. He is on his way into 7th grade. I have noticed that every year the tuition fee goes up and the lesson they're learning in each subject are WAY behind compared to the public school of the same grade... Teachers are assigning too much projects that have no learning experience, nor related to the subject, and costing parents a lot of money to buy prjoect supplies. If it weren't for my son wanting to stay there, i would of sent him to public school. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL!

Visitation is School how it should be. The staff/teachers put an emphasis on the individual. My children are well rounded, independent, and confident. I cannot say enough wonderful things about VA. It is the best decision we have made for our kids.

I used to be a student at Visitation Academy. I left when I was in the 6th grade. This school has gave me many wonderful memories. The people and teachers at Visitation are really nice. I would just improve the curiculum. The curiculum doesn't have a variety of classes or gives independence to students. But, overall Visitation Academy is a good school.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
