I love Brooklawn Middle School! It's soooooooo much better than Central!eww The teachers are really cool and we do a lot of fun stuff like baraques, canivals, dorney, hershey park etc. We have won serval awards for our academics and we also have an amazing student concial. We have currently got a new libary and a new wing which is amazing because it is air-condioned and it also has brand new macs! Overall Brooklawn Middle School is a lot of fun and very welcoming, I suggest any parent in the Parsippany district to send their child to Brooklawn..........GO BLACK NGHTS!=] by:lml

This school is awsome, its so much better than that Central Middle School. Brooklawn has so many sports and after school activites. Our pep rallies are fun, and it is just a well runned school.

BMS is a well-rounded school with a dedicated Principal and staff. My son just started 6th grade this year and I have had personal contact with all his teachers and regular contact with the Principal who solved all my early settling-in issues such as bus timings for my son very promptly. Eileen Hoehne is also very engaged in the PTSA and actively looking for parent ideas & discussions on topics of their interest. I have contacted my son's teachers via email and gotten prompt responses - all to my satisfactory resolution. In fact, the school teaching staff encourages regular contact. BMS's strategy for academics and after school activities are well communicated in my view. I would say, overall, the school is run very well.

There's more student activities than other schools have, a really good student council, and the teachers are really understanding.

There is more student activities at Brooklawn than any school in the district and perhaps the state. The facilities are being enlarged with summer construction, the teachers are wonderful and the staff is very warm. The school is very clean and students are generally well- behaved.

Teachers are unwilling to teach and sports are last minute events with no merit or awards. The disciplinary system is unjust and the facilities are dilapidated and overcrowded. This school is not for a serious student and did not tach me anything to put to use at my high school. Parent involvement is discouraged and impossible because of the lack of activities and events hosted by the school. I STRONGLY dislike this school and hope you choose for your son/daughter not to attend.
