i actually love this school and im a freshmen i heard that oh its bad and blah blah blah but actually its wonderful the teachers are great they know when to play and when not to there actually cool and they know how to teach us things right i rather go here than eastside
They are good students they just do not like being there for what seems like hours to them. They do their work they are excellent students once you get o know them
I am currently a student in Kennedy(2OO9) and I heard so many rumors od how bad JFK was. I didn't get into P.C.T.I. so I had no choice but to go. I was apprehensive about my first but it was actually good ! :)* They said they threw over 350 students out last year. They said the school has changed greatly. In the last 3 years there has yes been riots and students jumpinp and bouncing off the walls but they inforced a new principal and admin. They school has totally changed and I think the school will finally make a good name for itself. The school has a lot to offer. They have over 15 clubs to jion like blowing, football, golf, volleyball, decka etc. This school has much to offer and the staff is really thier to help you :)*
As a freshman I could say that JFK High school is full of wonderful oppertunities. The only thing I don'tl ike about the school is the students, some are bad influences but the teachers are great!
The worst 3 years of my life were spent in that school. There are so many wonderful teachers who really aim to make a difference, but it's all really about the board of ed. They could care less about the students, and are only interested in money. If you care at all for your childs future you will make sure they do NOT attend this school. Invest in a private school if anything, move, do whatever, it'll be worth it.
Kennedy is one of the worst schools i've attended and is doesn't deserve any star but the staff is very good but the ones that make the school bad is soem kids that don't want to learn so they don't care about their classmates and they only go to school to have a good time.
school have great teachers who work hard for the education of the children, but the safety and organasation in the school is very poor it does not deserve any stars.
Spent four years of my life within the walls of that institution, wishing I was somewhere else. Unfortunately, it had to be more about keeping law and order, than about teaching.
I used to go to John F. Kennedy for four years and had graduated out of there in 2005 and to be honest with you those were the best years of my life. I think Kennedy has a great extracurricular program they even have golf and bowling and for both girls and boys. Also, teachers there are great they understand you and other then just teaching you the regular stuff like math and English they also taught us respect and how to love others.
Im a senior in kennedy high school and since I got in this school things got better. the principal have done a wonderful job and is safer to walk around and there are no as many fights like before. I think parents should get more involved in their kids lives because sometimes they don't know what they really do in school. the staff is great and they try to help as best as they can and i just want to congratulate everybody that works in that school they are great. thank you for this four years I passed in school and i will miss it once I'm in college.
