My daughter attended MLCS for preschool during the 06-07 school year. The school gave my daughter confidence and made her want to learn. The following school year we moved and transferred our daughter into the Clara Barton. Wyhile the teacher was awesome the environment did not feel as nurturing. Our daughter wanted to return to MLCS and did for the 08-09 school year and continues to excell. MLCS has been a true blessing not only to our daughter but to our entire family. the staff is helpful, the teachers are great, and the children are very well behaved. I recommend this school to any parent who wants their child to have the best Christian upbringing possible

In the past, the school has been a caring, comprehensive learning environment. However, their principal went elsewhere this spring and the current regime is running the school into the ground. They have discipline issues and they don't have control in their classrooms. Parents who love the school are leaving the school and taking their kids elsewhere. Until they get new leadership, enrollment will continue to fall. Would not recommend this school even to the best and brightest student.

I was not happy with the environment or academics at Martin Luther Christian School in Pennsauken NJ. I had two children that attended the school starting this 2007-2008 school year. I feel as though the school environment is not conducive to the development of the student s intrinsic motivation. When reinforcments are used to increase positive behavior, they are extrinsic and tangible. I also felt that the school ignores problems with staff as well as students until the problems are out of control and punishment is needed. Positive reinforcement and interventions are bypassed and severe punishments preferred. Also, I have not experience the warm loving environment spoken of by individuals whom have been a part of the school for a longer period of time. Simply, I was not happy with the school experience for my children or myself. MLCS gets a negative star rating from this parent

This school is an awesome place to grow up in the Christian faith. Teachers there have prepeared me to go out into the world. They've left me with an abundance of knowledge, and plenty of memories to hold on to for as long as I live. I recommend this school to any parent who wants their child to grow in the Christian faith physically and spiritually.

I have been thoroughly satisfied with the educational experience my son has received at this school. We as parents are actively involved in the parent-teacher group. The teachers are caring and strive for success of each and every student. My son has attended the school for two years (3rd and 4th grade. The academic programs average. The school does not offer extracurricular activities which is one drawback of the school. This is a wonderful school for those who choose to have their children in a Christian-based environment. My child has attended this school since age 3 overall I have been satisfied with the education provided. I do however have some recent concerns in reference to the increase in class volume and the challneges that this presents for the teaching staff. I am also concerned that there may be a decrease in the quality of education as a result of this increase in teacher student ratio.
