This is an outstanding school!!! As a parent and a teacher myself I am so comforted to know my son is going to an excellent school. Guided reading program allows each child to grow at there own pace! Excellent teachers . principal has great repore with his students. Rock on!!!

This is the best school by far the teachers were there at all times and the Principal knew the children and the parents very involved I wish the scool would go to the 6th grade.

This school does not have a structured language program for reading. The children are given small readers with pictures and the teachers do not have writing materials and other written props to go along with the books. So it is more difficult for the children to learn to write and read. There is no continuity between the different books to build vocabulary. In addition, they have a policy of assigning a reading teacher but the teachers are rotated every 3-4 weeks so by the time one teacher learns the abilities of a student, the student is passed on to the next teacher. The math program is also sorely lacking. This school is part of an Abott school district in need of improvement as measured by the No Child Left Behind Policy but the school administrators and teachers are not open to suggestions from parents for improvements.

What more can you say about a school when your daughter says 3 or 4 times a week 'I am so happy I am in 1st grade!' She wakes up with a smile every morning when I tell her she has to go to school, she can't wait to do her homework (they do not give too much) and all the teachers there are great.
