My Son went to MLK from September 2010 to Feb 2011 and he loved his school. We moved out from Jersey but my Son will never forget MLK.He made great improvement in his academics. The Teachers were great and he made some very good friends there.

We moved to Jersey in the month of Oct 2007 and by that time my daughter lost a full month of school, yet due to extra care and motivation from the teachers she was able to do good and catch up by the end of 3rd term and she has also started liking the school and the teachers. She is already missing her school and classmates and is looking forward to get back to school after the summer vaccations.

My son went to MLK recently. It took him couple of months to dislike it very much. Although his previous schools he liked a lot. Being a quick learner, he needed additional challenge from a teacher, and was never given it. Academically this school is not bad, just a generall attitude towards students is - do what you are told to and we will leave you alone. At the end of the year my son's dislike for the school turned into hatred. Now he went to another school, and likes it very much. I believe the staff needs to pay attention to motivation and personal approach to children. It is a rather big school, but some other school of that size still manage to do so.
