Not a day goes by that I don't thank God for giving me the wisdom to place my children's education in such capable and caring hands. Starting with Mrs. Maragoto, the school principal effective August 2007, and continuing right down the staff list - each person is caring, intelligent and determined to help your child discover and reach their potential! Their motto is 'Home of God's Stars' and I can tell you the studetns are not the only stars! Keep up the great work, LNS!

I as a student adore this school! Everyone there treat you equally and we are all told that God made us special and thatals why we are who we are.I can really talk to people and not get made fun of by my faith.

I was very dissapointed with this school. The teachers are unprofessional and when faced with concerns, they are ignored. The principal of the school was no better in resolving issues with the teachers. Shoudn't a principal be trained in conflict resolution. They dont know how to deal with the parents or children. I would not recommend this school to parents with small children.

I went to Lake Nelson and I've got to admit, those were the best years of my childhood! The teachers are really great and caring. The fellow students are always great! Not to mention the special activity days the school organises... Really a great school.. :)

Since this is a religious school, I believe they do a commendable job in teaching, living, and allowing the students to fully realize their faith. The feeling of caring, helping each other, and good moral living permeates the entire atmosphere of Lake Nelson School. Although the art, music, and computer departments are quite limited, the school more than compensates in their pursuit of excellence in the 'reading, writing, and 'rithmatic' programs. This is a smallish school, allowing the principal and most of the teachers to know the names of every student. Thus, each child feels comfortable, safe, and most importantly - 'special'. It is an extremely nurturing environment. I heartily recommend Lake Nelson SDA School to any one seeking a strong academic record plus a warm, family-like experience.

In a Christian school and taught by Christian teachers, I can say right off the bat that your childs principals will be ahead by at least 50%. The standards of education are of the highest quality. The school has received awards and acknowledgements from the State of New Jersey. I can comfortably that your child will be more challenged and better prepared for High School by attending this awesome school.
