BE PREPARED to pay for extra tutoring and training if you want your child to have above a 3.4 gpa. Teachings methods do not work with students who are tactile or visual learners. Classmates here are extremely competitive. Please remember, that this school is built to help mainly the top 30% go to top tier colleges. The remaining students are considered "not smart" by their fellow classmates. In addition, there is a huge number of students from south asia and east asia as a result they bring their 3rd world work ethic to the classroom. Subsequently, students believe that if they do not get A's in high school they will fail at life. Be aware of the cliques created between students of varying grades, parents become friends with other parents simply so that they can get the "tricks" on how to improve their childs grades. As a result, if your family does not know many other families in the area you will be left behind. Last but not least, so many students here cheat and believe it is the best way to get ahead

The school has a great student population that is very driven to succeed. On average, the teacher quality is very good, but due to the luck of the draw, the kids might draw a poor teacher.

stellar academics, very rigorous music program and great sports (although usually bested by ww-p south); excellent preparation for colleges and will definitely give alumni an edge on the competition. integrity needs work but students just don't care enough to follow guidelines.

I cannot say I am too happy with this school. It is definitely more challenging school, but for better? We moved from the other township with nice high school to WWP school district with straight 'A' s. Child took all 'AP' classes. So, I don't think my child is stupid. Results from this year:'D' in chemistry,' C' in algebra. First time in her life 'C', not even mention about 'D'. I know for sure it was a lot of effort and home work done. Other results - extremely stressed child, much worsened GPA. Will it help in future admission to college? Is the program adequate to the high school level? Is it really good understandable program? Does it provide needed knowledge for future college? Now we have to think how to repair the damage done to GPA.

I have a child who is a junior in this School. I have nothing but good things to say about this School. The office staff need to be more receptive to the needs of the parents/children. After all, we pay very high taxes for their jobs. All in all, great education with poor administration.

I am perplexed by the negative review posted on 4/24/07. I have 2 children who have been students in the WW-P school system since kindergarten to HS. One has graduated and one will graduate HS in another 2 years. The one who has graduated and gone onto college frequently has said how well this school system prepared them fro college and, frankly, has found a couple of 1st yr. college courses to be easier then comparable classes they had in WW-P HSN. The point the reviwer makes about lack of communication also is contrary to what we have experienced. It is not a one-way street. There are any number of avenues to maintain communications in this district, incl. things as simple as email correspondence with teachers and staff which we have never heistated to do and have always received prompt responses to. We simply cannot agree at all with this reviewer.
