Maurice River Township Elementary School

MRT is the center of our community and our pride. Our kids work hard and they too have pride in their school. We set the example of why small schools are important and what can be done with motivated students, caring teachers and staff and parents that are involved in every aspect of their childrens' education. This is one the best K-8 schools in the state. The teachers care, the kids learn, and there is a higher level of expectations at this school. Values, manners, social skills and high academics are all here in one package.

I am a student at MRT. I have been in this school since I was 4 years old! How many other kids get to say they have been in a school for ten years. I graduate this ear but am so so sad to go. I know all of the teachers there and they all know me. This year we have been considered for the National Schools To Watch award.

I have 3 children, two of which are in MRT. My children have been attending MRT since grade 'K', and love it. My youngest will start next year. It's a wonderful school. MRT School is the reason we moved into the township. There is no better school anywhere for my children. I am a public school child and my school was nothing compaired to MRT School teachers, and staff.
