Very Nurturing and great for lower school. Our daughters attended K-8 and decided to leave. Lower School was great! Middle School lacked consistency in both faculty and curriculum. New MS Head is amazing! New Head of School has lots to do to put school where it needs to be - it has so much potential! Our daughters felt high school should be a new experience and as a parent I struggled with how the High School connects to the middle school - lots of turnover from 8th to 9th grade. SAT scores are relatively flat for past several years......certainly a school worth considering it is on the move!
My wife and I have watched our two daughters grow into wonderful young women, in large part due to their experiences at Stuart. The school has a the ability to balance all the components of an education that is required to succeed in life - a sense of community, strong academics, social justice, and the development of leadership skills. We have appreciated this combination as time has gone by. We would recommend this school to anyone seeking to raise their daughters to make a difference in their families, in their community, and in the world, now and always.
I was a student at this amazing school in 2001-2007. I have spent 6 fabulous years at this friendly, kind, and loving school. I have many friends still going there and they enjoy it. If you're in Princeton looking for a great school look here. You or your child will never feel lonely or sad in this wonderful enviroment!
My twins are currently in third grade at Stuart and have been there since preschool. It is and excellent school and we love it! We may be moving out of state, and the worst part will be trying to find a school as wonderful. Academically it is very good and it is a small, nurturing environment with teachers and administrators who really care and get to know both students and parents. Sports are also strong as are extracurricular activities. The school creates a family type atmosphere. I was hesitant at first about it being a girls only school, but my daughters are thriving!
