My children are in first grade (junior 1) and pre-K (primary) and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are exceptional, with lots of experience. The academic standards are high and the teachers nuture the whole child. We feel we are giving our children the best school experience possible.

This school is truly a special place for children. Not only are the programs for younger children exceptional, but the same level of care, support and respect follows each child as they grow. Now that my son is in Middle School, I am once again amazed at the depth of the program, the expertise of the teachers, and the overall support the school provides to our family. Outstanding academics are just a small part of his education; the school truly nurtures "the whole child."

My husband and I could not be happier with this school for our daughter. She started as an infant (just 5 months) and is now a toddler. She attends the school five days a week, full days. The teachers and staff are nurturing and caring and treat children with respect and compassion. As a working mom, I have comfort that my child is being cared for as I would do if I could stay home with her -- probably even better as she is stimulated with all sorts of experiences I could not bring her alone. I can't say enough about this school and would encourage anyone who wants something more than "day care" to check it out.

From infant through 8th grade the students leave being prepared for all aspects of life. Academics are important, but so is development of good character, and this school does it.

I have 2 children who attend this school and our family could not be happier. The teachers are totally dedicated and are excellent. The children really enjoy learning and as a result the academic standards are high. Social responsibility, kindness, and respect are also emphasized. Most importantly, my children love coming to school. The administration is very organized and supportive. Together this makes for a wonderful school and one that we are happy to be a part of.

Teachers amazing, dedicated, warm and involving. Students ahead of peers at other schools by milestones - child after child leaving for other schools skips a yr! Yes, classrooms stay the same while size vary (isn't that case of any school? Not heard of school who changed facilities dep on enrollment), but class size ALWAYS lower than other elem schools & teacher child ratio lower so complaint about class size must be from some1 who actually hasn t been in PMS elem progr. While class size is same and class has increased they still have 3 1/2 classrooms, and split class into small groups of max 8 kids:1 teacher in a room larger than any other area school. Only time when teacher kid ratio higher is parties, lunch or circle time - again there are more than 1 teacher. Kids learn at own pace in their own way which proofs successful for alt learners who most would have been lost in the public schools or the old style schools like PDS and Charter. Only giving 4 stars as believe admin is lacking communication skills & multicultural understanding. They favor the caucasian families (non Montessori) - sadly they do loose non caucasian students over this - admin will never admit it

Excellent school. The toddler and primary programs (PreK - K) are outstanding. The Elementary and Middle School too is excellent. Overall academically the school is very very impressive. The Grade 1 students read at a level far higher than that expected of them and are assisted by very committed and talented educators. Most importantly the children are happy, confident, and creative with an ability to adapt to and meet any academic challenge.

My family moved from other country recently. My son is also tested another princeton area preschool. My son liked this princeton montessori school at first time than another school. Because this school environment(teacher, classroom,..) is very comfortable to child. Teachers do not push students, Now, My son enjoy his school life.

The pre-K program for ages 2-3 is excellent, though somewhat expensive. The main teachers are highly trained and dedicated, with long tenures at the school, supplemented by younger assistant teachers who are often waiting for permanent positions at this school or other schools. This school enjoys a strong pool of teaching talent. The facilities are also nice. Overall, we feel this is an excellent choice to help our child develop into a responsible, independent little person.

Very disappointed with the director of the school. Her first priority is clearly not the children. Our child, who began first grade at a public school this year, was well below his reading level and is in a special private class to catch him up. This concern was addressed with the head of [this] school prior to his kindergarden year and nothing was done to help him.
