This is a lovely school with a more than competent team of teachers and administrators. Over the past decade, the school Principal has done a fabulous job building this elite, bi-lingual institution. The curriculum is challenging and extremely well rounded for the students. The negative comments on this site are a minority compared to all the wonderful things other parents say about the school. Everyone knows the real, meaningful feedback isn't given on anonymous sites but rather through conversations with the other parents. Too bad the rating doesn't allow for 6 stars!

Love The French American School of Princeton. For 4 years, this school has been the foundation of my children's bilingual education. The school balances both languages, curriculums and cultures to challenge the kids at the same time providing a nuturing, structured, creative environment. My children are miles ahead of public school children their ages and my sincerest parental committment is to ensure they continue to receive such a wonderful education.

My family was treated very poorly by this school. We attended the school for several years and left last year for Boston. We were told our children would always be welcome back. We found this was not the case when we returned a year later. My daughter was put on a "waiting list" for the second grade class. I enquired monthly for 4 months by email about her placement and was assured the class was full. A friend inquired about space for her daughter for the same class and time as I needed and was told there was space available. I followed up and was told again there still was not space for my daughter. When I followed up again through email as to why my daughter was on a waiting list for 4 months yet my friend was told there was space available within an hour of her inquiry I was met with silence. As a result my daughter's formal French education has come to and end. My daughter attended the Lycee in San Francisco and the International School of Boston. Both were wonderful. Both are professional. My children and family are welcome at both.

Poor academics. The French American school is only good for preschool after kindergarden take your kid out of there. it is not challenging enough. If you want your kid to get into selective elementary or high school get your kid out this school, there are better schools out there.Every year their staff changes. This year alone 2 teachers left the school in November. Their after school program is a joke. The school principal is very controlling.

My child has been with French American School of Princeton for two years now. And we are staying. We just love it !!! We love everything about it : curriculum, small family and nurturing environment, teachers, people from all over the world. I wish we can stay here as long as possible.

This is a great school with an impressive academic program which provides a very good learning environment for the kids. What makes the school good? This school tries to merge the best of the french and American schooling systems: the rigor and depth of the french system and the nurturing and creativity of the American system (and cover both curriculums!). This is a tall order, but although not perfect, the school succeed extremely well in providing such a 'best of both worlds' program.

Excellent School!!! When your child is at the French American school, he recieves the best balance between the rigor and the French culture and the creativity of the American system. In addition each class has very small group so teachers can take time with each child, with his best way of learning and by respecting his individuality. What I like so much is the mixity of the different cultures. I would recommand this great school.

Offers a very strong curriculum combined with solid teaching. We are extremely happy that our children have the opportunity to be educated in two languages at this excellent school.

It's a small school ,your kids will benefit from a great exposure to various culture in this highly advanced bilingual education.I'm an American Parent ,I'm soo fortunate to have my kids at the french school where they have a very nurturing environment. Unfortunately the previous negative reviews come from couple of families that we all know ,left the school because their kids and themselves had issues and just want to hurt the reputation of our very highly academic school .

A nurturing environement and excellent teachers. The school is a great institution for multi-culturalism.Each child is given almost exclusive attention based on his/her needs,a real progressive and healthy environment for your child's development. A great school worth checking it out.
