My son attends preschool here and absolutely loves it. He adores his teachers and comes home happy each time. The teachers are excellent and caring people. I was so happy we chose this school to be the foundation and first school experience for my son.

My three kids have gone to saint james since PreSchool. My oldest is in 6th grade. Saint James has been more than just a learning institution. They've been like a family to us, and very supported. The program is very good. There has been always good communication w/teacheres, they've been always available and they are very demanding w/the programs, specially in middle school. The principal es excellente, and Yes, she is always on top of everything. If you want your child to have a good education and respect others, saint james would be a good place to send him.

My children have done quite well at St. James. It is a great school if your child is a good student. Children with special needs don't have as many options as they would in the public schools, though I must say that the staff and the teachers do their best to help every child succeed. The class sizes are large, so there is a lot for each teacher to have to deal with. Overall I have loved being a part of the St. James community.

ST James has been a blessing for my children. They both came from Europe without speaking 1 word of English and the amount of support that the staff has been giving them has been excellent. The quality of the programmes is excellent; extra curricular activities perfect. Parents can get as involved as they want. There is always availability to speak to the teachers so I CANNOT agree with the parent who wrote homework was boring and teacher communication lacked! The principle is everywhere always and leads the school fabulously! Getting a St James education is for the lucky ones!

My son went through 4 years at St. James (Pre-K through 1st Grade). Many complaints: communication between parents/teachers is severely lacking; classes are much to big to benefit any child or teacher; too much boring homework at very young ages; tuition is the most important factor, not the good of the child.

My children have done quite well with academics at St. James. There is quite a bit of parent involovement. The Principal is excellent and is definitely on top of things. There are also many activities for your child to participate in throughout the year.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
